~(241)Am感烟探测源α能谱鉴定
EXAMINATION OF α-SPECTRA FROM ~(241)Am SMOKE DETECTOR SOURCES

摘要: ~(241)Am感烟式火灾报警器在国内外已被广泛应用。~(241)Am感烟探测源是报警器的核心部件,α粒子能量的高低与源活性区上金覆盖层的厚度有关。 用英国进口的混合核素(~(241)Am,~(244)Cm,~(239)Pu)α标准源做能量刻度,在2—6MeV能区线性好于0.4%,α粒子能量测量的总不确定度小于5%。对~(241)Am感烟探测源做了各种环境试验,得到了满意的结果。Abstract: ~(241)Am smoke detector has been widely used to protect the people and their property from fire disaster. The ~(241)Am radioactive source is the core part of the detector. Its α-spectrum is one of the important characteristics to guarantee the quality of the detector. The α-spectra have been examined in this work under different thickness of the gold foil with which the radioactive area is covered.The energy calibration of the spectrometer has been done using the mixture alpha standard source (~(241)Am, ~(239)Pu and ~(244)Cm) made in U. K. The linearity of energy from 2 MeV to 6 MeV is better than 0.4%. The total uncertainty for energy measurement of alpha particles emitted from the source is less than 5%.Environmental tests have also been performed. The results are satisfactory.
